Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with dermatological conditions.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients based on assessment findings.
• Providing patient education on dermatological conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
• Administering medications, treatments, and procedures specific to dermatology.
• Assisting dermatologists in various clinical procedures such as biopsies and excisions.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting findings in electronic health records.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment conducive to dermatological care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and empathy in all patient interactions.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• Certification in Dermatology Nursing (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a dermatology setting
• Strong knowledge of dermatology treatments, procedures, and practices
