Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Management:
- Establish strategies to ensure that the Professional Practice and Governance team adopts and implements leading practices to aid Group Governance in delivering its mission and vision
- Ensure Group Audit’s stature, organization, strategy and resources are aligned with the Department strategic objectives and governance, and take into consideration changes in stakeholders’ expectations, emerging trends and leading practices in internal auditing.
- Lead and mentor a team of system integrators, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on system integration initiatives and emerging technologies.
- Project Oversight:
- Manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
- Address and resolve deployment challenges, including technical, logistical, and personnel issues.
- Monitor project progress and report key metrics to senior leadership.
- People Management:Â
- Set measurable key performance indicators for audit teams that will enable the Division to meet or exceed its mission and goals.
- Lead by example by modelling Department desired behaviors, so that staff are inspired to do the same
- Champion a prudent risk and compliance culture that promotes good ethics, accountability and good conduct among staff
- Cultivate a conducive environment that allows staff to learn, grow and consistently exhibit the core values of the Department
- Deliverables Management:
- Monitor the execution of the audit plan, manage it, and report the status and results of executing the audit plan.
- Make necessary changes to the audit plan to address any emerging risks and concerns, regulatory developments or shifts in the Department strategy.
- Report, on periodic basis, any significant issues related to the governance, risk management and internal control processes of the Department, including potential improvements to the processes, and provide information concerning such issues through to resolution.
- Provide, at least annually, a report on the state of internal controls by assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the Department’s governance, risk management and internal control processes.
- Develop, track and report Division’s Key Performance Indicators and Objectives and Key Results
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field deployment specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Set team goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations across deployment activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the primary point of contact for field deployment activities, coordinating with clients, vendors, and external partners.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in coputer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in field deployment, operations, or project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role. Proven track record of managing large-scale deployment projects across multiple locations. Experience in industries such as telecommunications, technology, logistics, or construction .
