BGS Medical Center is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Specialist Orthodontist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, planning, and implementing treatment plans for patients requiring orthodontic care. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough orthodontic assessments and examinations, including diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring braces, aligners, and other orthodontic devices.
- Provide clear and effective communication to patients and their families regarding treatment options, progress, and expected outcomes.
- Perform orthodontic procedures, including braces installation, adjustments, and maintenance, as well as clear aligner treatments.
- Monitor and adjust orthodontic appliances to ensure proper alignment and optimal results.
- Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Stay current with advancements in orthodontic techniques and technology.
- Educate patients on proper oral care during orthodontic treatment.
- Adhere to all medical protocols, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Dental degree (BDS/DMD) and Master’s degree in Orthodontics (MDS/MSc/DDS or equivalent).
- Board certification in Orthodontics (if applicable).
- Proven experience in orthodontic care and treatment.
- Strong knowledge of current orthodontic methods and technology.
- Excellent patient management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to maintain professional development and certifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with modern orthodontic systems (e.g., Invisalign, lingual braces).
- Fluency in multiple languages (English + local language).

The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of general dentistry while possessing specific expertise in orthodontics to treat a diverse range of patients, including children and adults. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care, combining general dental services with specialized orthodontic treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of general dental services, including exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat orthodontic issues, offering solutions such as braces, retainers, and other appliances.
- Develop treatment plans for patients requiring both general and orthodontic care.
- Educate patients on oral health, proper hygiene, and the benefits of orthodontic treatment.
- Coordinate with specialists as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform routine orthodontic procedures, such as fitting and adjusting braces and clear aligners.
- Monitor patient progress during orthodontic treatments, making adjustments when necessary.
- Ensure all patient records are up-to-date and compliant with health regulations.
- Maintain a patient-focused approach, providing exceptional service and support.
Qualifications:
- Dental degree (BDS/DMD) with additional training or certification in orthodontics.
- Proven experience in general dentistry and orthodontics.
