Skills

  • Strong track record in effective teaching and helping students succeed.
  • Experience in teaching IB Middle Years and Diploma programmes preferred.
  • Outstanding teachers from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply.
  • Alignment with IB philosophy and commitment to Learner Profile values is crucial.
  • Genuine passion for working in a non-selective and culturally diverse community is required.
  • A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).
  • Advanced qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience teaching Upper High School/Secondary Science.
  • Strong understanding of the IB DP framework and Approaches to Teaching preferred.
  • Desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
  • Experience, personality, and educational philosophy aligned with leading IB World Schools.
  • Availability in August 2025.
