We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Occupational Therapy (OT) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing occupational therapy treatment, including assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress. Responsibilities will also include collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes, administering medications, documenting patient interactions, and providing patient and family education. The successful candidate will possess a valid RN license and have previous experience in occupational therapy settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building therapeutic relationships with patients and assisting in their rehabilitation journey. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ conditions and develop individualized treatment plans for occupational therapy.
  • Administer and monitor prescribed occupational therapy treatments and procedures.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercises and activities to promote recovery and independent functioning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care and support interdisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Document patient assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes accurately in medical records.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in occupational therapy techniques and technologies.
  • Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and safety protocols in all aspects of patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their therapy sessions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold the highest level of professionalism in all interactions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Additional certification or specialization in Occupational Therapy (OT) is preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge in occupational therapy techniques
