Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and observe patients for any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret the results.
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and nursing practices.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Valid nursing license issued by the state regulatory body.
- Good understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work well in a team.
