Job Description
As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care to eye patients while ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This is an opportunity to work alongside a team of experts, assisting ophthalmologists and contributing to the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care for eye patients, including preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and administering prescribed medications.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments following strict standards.
- Schedule patient testing and referrals while ensuring the smooth flow of appointments.
- Respond to inquiries and liaise with clinical and technical staff to ensure seamless communication.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in nursing care by attending in-service lectures and engaging with current professional literature.
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
- Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (DHA, DHCC)
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school (specialized outpatient department education preferred).
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
- CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
- Knowledge of DHA, and DHCC compliance
- Minimum of 3 years of consecutive outpatient department (OPD) experience and operation assistance, with specialized knowledge in ophthalmology cases.
- Proficient in sterilization processes and equipment, and skilled in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Comfortable with tasks such as pushing trolleys, lifting patients, and working in a dynamic environment.
