Overview of the role

Optimize IKEA’s digital platforms (web and app) for user experience, traffic, and conversions. Conduct A/B tests, analyse keywords, and translate insights into actions. Ensure omnichannel consistency, optimize SEO/GMB for visibility, coordinate with global team for SEO, and manage global web releases. Align campaigns with commercial priorities and collaborate for a compelling omnichannel experience. Lead UI enhancements to optimize user journeys and conversions.

What you will do

  • Maintain and optimize the IKEA website and mobile applications by ensuring that all functionalities are implemented effectively to secure online performance and operations (e.g. increase of conversion rate and visitation)
  • Ensure a consistent and positive IKEA customer experience on the web
  • Co-ordinate and steer an integrated digital media mix that is set up in an optimal way
  • Together with eCommerce, web and other marketing colleagues search for areas of improvement to optimise the online media mix and through this the IKEA web performance in total
  • Analyse essential keyword volumes and search rankings and based on that define a search strategy for the country that is aligned with the global search direction and refined in terms of eCommerce
  • Gain digital synergy, traffic and visibility from search engines by securing organic search results (SEO) through paid search efforts (SEM) directing to the IKEA website as the central hub of our digital landscape
  • Partner with functions (e.g. PR, global & local web team, customer relations, eCommerce) across the organisation to identify areas of improvement to optimise the IKEA web functionality
  • Analyse web statistics on a continuous base to optimise the online media mix, the functionality and commerciality of the IKEA country website
  • Work with various steps in the purchase funnel and increase conversion on each step of the funnel
  • Analyze user behavior/ Data insights/ AB testing thus improve the overall digital experience on all digital tools
  • Give feedback on functional effectiveness and communicate new needs to the global & local web team in order to support future development of the digital media landscape

Required skills to be successful

  • Experience in designing and implementing process flows, workflow management procedures, in a quality assurance/testing environment
  • Digital, online, ecommerce experience
  • Prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Experienced in working with website development and including search
  • Experienced in working on the web
  • Experienced in communicating in English, with various audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organise, prioritise and manage a high-volume of assignments
  • Demonstrated conceptual and logical abilities; proven ability to think creatively as well as strategically and tactically
  • Experienced in working in a customer-centric environment
  • Experienced in working with brand building
  • Proven experience of working within a common brand and corporate design framework
