Job Description

  • Responsible to support the Quality and Accreditation department for all accreditation and regulatory body surveys, clinical and non-clinical audits, and inspections. Support regulatory readiness, quality measurement, public reporting by preparation of appropriate tools, conducting training, internal audits.
  • Ensures organizational compliance with mandated quality indicators, both internal and external.
  • Utilizes, integrates, and interprets data to assist the organization in its improvement efforts and promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Involve in training and communicating improvement initiatives, quality, and patient safety issues throughout the hospital.
  • Analyzes all assigned areas for opportunities for improvement and makes applicable recommendations for process, system, procedure, and operational changes to improve healthcare value and quality.
  • Ensures organizational compliance with required KPIs and mandated quality indicators, by doing Audits and Validation for both internal and external KPI’s like DOH JAWDA, OSHMS, NMC Healthcare Corporate KPIs.
  • Support regulatory readiness, quality measurement, public reporting, and pay-for-performance programs and initiatives (e.g. DOH Jawda Program),
  • Assist the Head of the Department in maintaining records of policies, procedures, guidelines, forms, and other documents and ensures the circulation of current documents and the de- circulation of expired documents.
  • Prepare periodic reports like Quality reports, audit reports, etc.
  • Performs highly responsible office functions; assists in arranging and coordinating department activities.
  • Establishes and maintains records, filing systems, and logs.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Hospital / Healthcare/ Business Administration with Bachelor’s degree in the healthcare field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of healthcare quality and operations experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Candidates with Clinical background & Medical coding experience will be given priority
  • Experience in JCI standards, hospital accreditation surveys, DOH audits
  • Strong knowledge of CQI tools and techniques, ability to perform data analytics, and lead performance improvement teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be well versed with Microsoft office tools.
