What will you be doing?
This role is responsible for executing marketing strategies and tactical plans that promotes Smith and Nephew product superiority. The Product Specialist is responsible for coordination with the Regional Marketing Managers to drive revenue and market share for the Division and maintain customer relations with major accounts while driving the customer requirements back into the Company. This role involves selling unique patented devices and implants in theatre directly to opinion leading surgeons.
What will you need to be successful?
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the healthcare professional.
- Conduct product presentations to different customers including physicians, nurses, purchasers, and decision makers.
- Conduct product training which includes product features and benefits, positioning, competitive advantages, and role play.
- Assist in the identification and assessment of the field and marketing support needs making recommendation to management when appropriate.
- Maintaining strong relationships with the business unit staff
- Act as a communication link between the marketing organisation and the business unit to resolve problems, quality issues, manufacturing defects, and other related issues.
Successful candidates would need the following:
- Bachelor’s degree relating to life science (Medicine, Pharma etc)
- Two years or more of experience as medical representative in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in wound management
- The ability to communicate both in English and Arabic.
