Role Description:

The role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring plant, machinery and vehicles required for seamless operation

of the organization’s manufacturing and operational processes. This role ensures that all procurement activities related to

construction equipment, plant, machinery, and vehicle.

Desired Candidate Profile

Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the needs of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• Identify cost-effective procurement solutions and alternatives for construction materials, machinery, and services.

• Evaluate and recommend suppliers based on their ability to meet project-specific requirements.

2. Vendor Management:

• Sending Enquiries with the hiring description, spare parts, PMV related services, Ensure proper selection and evaluation of suppliers and sub-contractors as per related quality procedures

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favourable contracts and delivery timelines.

3. Filtering Process Management:

• Develop and implement systems to filter and evaluate procurement options based on quality, cost, and project specifications.

• Ensure that procurement decisions align with project timelines and civil engineering standards.

• Use data analytics and project forecasts to anticipate and mitigate procurement risks.

4. Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.

• Provide procurement support to project teams, ensuring timely availability of materials and services.

• Monitor procurement progress and resolve any issues related to supply delays, quality concerns, or contract disputes.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to relevant industry regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.

• Monitor the quality of procured goods and services, and ensure they meet required specifications
