Role Overview

The Physiotherapist I is responsible for assessing referred patients, developing and implementing individualized therapy programs, and monitoring their progress. The role requires clinical expertise in physiotherapy, including anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based practice, while ensuring alignment with patient care plans and scope of practice across all life stages.

Responsibilities

• Conducts patient evaluations and diagnoses physiological and psychological conditions.
• Develops and modifies individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educates patients and caregivers about therapy goals and treatments.
• Monitors patient progress using standardized outcome measures.
• Ensure patient safety by conducting risk assessments during therapy.
• Maintains detailed patient records and completes documentation for billing and insurance.
• Manages physiotherapy equipment and liaises with other medical professionals.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy or Master’s through direct entry from a recognized program
• Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation
• Completion of a recognized specialty qualification under DOH/DHA guidelines
