Patient Aide
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help patients with mobility, ensuring they are safely transferred and positioned.
- Monitor patient comfort and report any concerns to the nursing team.
- Support patients with feeding, if necessary.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
- Help patients with rehabilitation exercises and daily activities as instructed by medical staff.
- Maintain patient records and document any changes in condition or behavior.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Certificate in Caregiving
- Previous experience as a Patient Aide, Caregiver, or in a similar role in a hospital setting
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Empathetic, patient, and caring personality with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
