Outlet Manager

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet Manager to join Floor24 – our rooftop garden bar with Dubai’s shimmering landmarks view at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Administration

• Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence)
• Updates SOPs through Mercury as and when needed. 
• Communicate new or amended procedures to relevant departments/ colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood.  
• Control department forms and records according to the JI standards for Document Control, including (but not limited to):

Operational

• Implement the marketing activities and record analysis report. 
• Implements systems/ measures to control F&B costs within budget guidelines, minimize wastage and maximize productivity. 
• Conducts regular briefings and meetings to ensure all colleagues receive the information necessary to perform their jobs. 
• Maintains a working knowledge of relevant sections within the JI Food Hygiene SOP and ensure the Outlet meets these standards at all times. 

Financial

• Implement strategies to achieve desired financial performance. 
• Communicate outlet financial objectives to the line staff on a daily basis – in terms they will understand. 

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• A minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a managerial role within a luxury hotel / standalone restaurant. 
• Essentially, we are looking for someone that holds a hotel or hospitality degree.
• Strong bar background and beverage knowledge. 
• Good command in English (spoken & written), fluent in another language is desirable.
