Job Description
- Assess students’ abilities, challenges, and needs through observation, standardized tests, and consultations.
- Develop individualized therapy plans to improve motor skills, sensory integration, and daily functioning in the school environment.
- Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions to address fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation.
- Collaborate with teachers to modify classroom environments and tasks to support students’ learning and participation.
- Train school staff and parents on strategies and techniques to assist students in achieving their goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings to provide input on student progress and future goals.
- Promote inclusive practices and help students develop independence in academic and social settings.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional license or eligibility to obtain a license in Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD).
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and common childhood conditions such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with students, parents, and school staff effectively.

Additional Requirements
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
