Job Description: The Mathematics Teacher will be pivotal in delivering high-quality education, fostering intellectual and personal growth, and inspiring students to become active global citizens. The responsibilities and expectations for this role include the following:
Core Responsibilities:
Teach mathematics subjects such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
Align lessons with the California State Standards to ensure consistency and rigor.
Employ innovative teaching strategies, including:
Inquiry-Based Learning to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective use of technology to enhance learning experiences.
Design and implement diverse learning activities tailored to meet students’ needs.
Monitor, assess, and report students’ academic performance and behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student development and address challenges.
Prepare clear and structured lesson objectives and encourage academic perseverance.
