Material Coordinator I Real Estate I Al Futtaim Engineering and Technologies
Overview of the role:
The Material Coordinator is responsible for the assigned Project Stores activities including receiving deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting stores transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory of the Project.
What you will do:
- Manage the receiving, handling, inspecting, distribution, storage, and inventory control of all material that come in and out.
- Plan layout, prepare bin arrangement, Logistics plan, and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage.
- Maintain quality of all incoming items, communicate all delays or variances in incoming items to the appropriate parties.
- Maintain strict control on tools inventory.
- Supervise a team of stores employees, including delegation, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
Required skills to be successful:
Job-Specific Skills:
- Computer Literacy and especially in MS office.
- Writing skills and conversational ability in English & Hindi.
- Familiar with warehouse best practices and policies and procedures implementation.
- Very good experience in warehouse management.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Possesses effective communication and analytical skills.
- Open-minded and strong aptitude to work in site environment.
- Accurate, superior written/oral communication and documentation skills.
- Good knowledge of occupational hazards.
What equips you for the role:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Degree in Science / Arts or Diploma in Engineering and related training in supply chain management and general accounting.
Minimum Experience:
- 5-8 Years’ experience in MEP stores management in contracting companies.
