Inventory Officer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain precise inventory records using inventory management software and Microsoft applications.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing and Store teams to forecast and manage inventory needs.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize losses.
  • Prepare detailed inventory reports, analyze data for trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in handling and storing inventory.
  • Assist in training and supervising warehouse staff as needed.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accurate stock records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare inventory management.
  • Certified in Supply Chain Management (CSM) or equivalent.
