Dialysis Technologist
Job Description
Education
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Dialysis Technology or equivalent qualification in dialysis technology with minimum three (3) years course duration is required
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in renal dialysis field is required
- International accreditation experience is preferred
Certification and Licensure
- BLS certification is preferred

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and write in English is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to speak and write in Arabic is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets up and operates hemodialysis machine and continuous renal replacement therapy machines to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure: Attaches dialyzer and tubing to machine to assemble for use.
- Primes dialyzer with saline or heparinized solution to prepare machine for use.
- Transports patient and/or equipment to location of treatment.
- Performs work related to dialysis machine and portable RO duties like: assembling equipment and supplies, equipment start up, blood line setup, priming, testing, and cleaning /disinfection of the equipment
- Cleans and disinfect the equipment of the patient care
- Restocks and rotates of dialysis supplies
- Monitors, cleans, disinfects/sanitizes, tests, and trouble shoots the water treatment
- Performs Bio monitoring, testing, and reporting (water cultures and endotoxin, dialysate cultures and endotoxin)
