MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Monitor the quality and compliance of clinical documentation and coding regulations to prevent risk for the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Ensures an inpatient and outpatient audit plan is in place for all the MCME Units.
- Develops the training and educational program and provides/arranges periodic trainings.
- Delivers information related to coding guidelines by regulatory bodies, DRG, clinical documentation, and CDI newsletters to all the MCME Units.
- Supports the clinical and funder relation department with utilisation reporting activities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine/nursing.
- Certified Clinical Coder/Auditor.
- Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years DRG coding experience in a hospital environment.
- Experience managing or leading a team.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
