Due to the continued growth of the school we are seeking an inspirational and proactive Associate Assistant Head of Secondary: Coaching and Professional Development to join our leadership team at Arcadia British School. This vital role focuses on empowering our staff through high-quality coaching and professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will lead on leadership development, oversee CPD budgets, and implement impactful programmes that enhance teaching, learning, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive coaching and leadership development programme.
- Promote and facilitate access to external CPD opportunities to enhance staff expertise.
- Manage the CPD budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Curate and maintain a high-quality staff CPD library.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate a weekly CPD programme tailored to school priorities and staff needs.
- Coordinate and deliver CPD sessions as part of the induction week for new staff.
- Evaluate the impact of CPD initiatives on staff performance and student outcomes.
- Advise the Head of School on strategic CPD priorities and emerging needs.
- Act as the coaching lead, providing mentorship to staff and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required in relevant specialist subject area.
- Fully qualified teacher holding BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS or equivalent.Â
- Qualified Teacher with 5 years of experience in delivering the National Curriculum for England with the ability to teach Secondary subject to at least iGCSE level.
- Committed professionals who are dedicated to raising standards in alignment with the school’s vision, mission and values.
- Outstanding practitioners with the ability to deliver innovative lessons built on current pedagogical thinking and forward-thing initiatives.
