We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join our team in Dubai.

Position Overview

As an L&D Specialist you will work as a vital member of the People & Culture team, specifically responsible for designing, developing, implementing and delivering learning experiences across the ALEC business.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to design and deliver soft skill, people development and leadership programmes training programmes for all staff ranging from Junior to Senior Level team members within ALEC and related businesses
  • Liaise with stakeholders and subject matter experts across all levels of the business, including the C-Suite Design to develop comprehensive training programs
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and training manuals.
  • Support in developing and communicating a professional development curriculum within the business
  • Identifying organisational gaps and role-specific training needs
  • Translate business information and concepts into visually appealing, dynamic and impactful learning content.
  • Maintain training records in accordance with company policy and audit requirements
  • Integrate technology in traditional courses and provide instructional technology support
  • Continuously improve and innovate learning content through ongoing research and development.
  • Oversee the delivery of training programmes through various modalities, ensuring they are engaging, accessible, and effective.
  • Coordinate with internal trainers or external training providers as needed.
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve and refine learning initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative learning environment and encourage knowledge sharing among employees.
  • Ensure that all training programmes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Organisational Development from an accredited institution required, CIPD included
  • A completed Train the Trainer Qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development design and delivery
  • Proficiency in using LMS and Microsoft Office
  • Experience of either developing & delivering training or of structuring & facilitating workshops with a manager or professional level audience
  • Excellent organising and project management skills
  • Ability to plan, organise, coordinate, multitask and prioritise under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Confident and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels.
