Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant with 5 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and assist in tax filings.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS and local accounting standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, VAT, and tax regulations in the UAE.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tool
