Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:Â Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Bookkeeping:Â Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure proper ledger entries.
- Tax Preparation:Â Assist in preparing and filing VAT returns and other tax-related documents as per UAE regulations.
- Budgeting:Â Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning reports.
- Reconciliations:Â Perform regular bank, account, and ledger reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Audit Support:Â Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing required documentation.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:Â Monitor and manage invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Compliance:Â Ensure adherence to local financial laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with UAE tax regulations, including VAT compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Certifications:Â Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage.
